Serious and honest, the dependable leader of VISTY. He is good at taking care of others and is trusted deeply by his fellow unit-members, but life seems to have dealt him the short straw. With his father being a super-famous actor, he has been labeled “second-generation celeb” by the general public, which bothers him deeply. In order to rid himself of this judgment, he has single-mindedly devoted himself to being an idol. He has a sweet tooth, particularly for gummies.
Appearance[]
Shogo is a tall, fair-skinned young man with medium-length black hair with light blue highlights on the fringe and pale blue eyes. He wears a white t-shirt with a blue jacket and dark grey jeans. His shoes are black and white sneakers with blue laces. He has many accessories. He has several piercings (two on his right ear; two on his left, with a long beaded earring draping from one on his earlobe) and an ear cuff on the helix of his left ear. He wears many necklaces: a black choker, two rhinestone-like bead necklaces, a white pearl bead necklace, and another necklace with a black strap and a transparent blue plate hanging from it. He has two black belts, one around his pants with the buckle being intersecting circles and triangles, and the other around his waist with a butterfly buckle. There is a curb chain bracelet on his right hand. Finally, he wears his phantometal, the Chained Pinky Ring, on his right hand, with a double ring on the middle finger connected to a butterfly ring on the pinky finger via a chain.

This is a "fragment of memory" deep within their hearts
「Getting special treatment due to his parent's influence」, that's the one phrase that has always followed me throughout my entire life.
When I was just a child, everyone seemed so happy whenever I stood on the stage.
I wanted to make everyone smiling even more, thus why I worked myself to death, as if my whole life depended on it.
But eventually, there was this one thing that I came to realize.
That those praises I received, wasn't actually meant for me... it was for 「the son of a famous actor」.
I came to understand that 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 was the only label of value those adults ever gave me.

- Age 20: Present. VISTY becomes a struggling idol group on the brink of disbanding.

Shogo's phantometal is the Chained Pinky Ring (チェーンドピンキーリング). It is worn on his right hand. It consists of a double ring on his middle finger on one end of the chain and on the other a butterfly ring on his pinky finger. He activates it by kissing it.

Etymology[]
- The name Shogo means "yearn after, long for, aspire to, admire/admiration, adore" (憧) (sho) and "I, me" (吾) (go).
- Shogo's surname Yamato means "big, great" (大) (yama) and "harmony, peace" (和) (to).

- Shogo's "Ideal Type" has no preferences, but finds people who works hard attractive.[7]
