Profile[]
A young man draped in a listless atmosphere. Born with a peculiar appearance, he spent his childhood in solitude. Now he’s a hedonist that just does as he pleases, but deep down he seeks a true connection with others. Due to his constitution leaving him weak to sunlight, he is nocturnal.
Appearance[]
Shion is a tall, pale man with a slender build. He has red eyes and white, hip-length hair with short layers at the top. There is a scale-like mark on his left cheek, probably related to his skin disease[1]. He wears a white, wide-necked shirt, slim black jeans with rips in the knees, and black sneakers with red laces. He has a long, light-brown coat with a chevron-pattern. Shion has an ear cuff and a tag-like earring on his left ear. Other accessories he has are two bracelets on his left wrist, a black studded collar, and a long chain necklace with circular sunglasses hanging off of them. His nails are painted black and he wears his Phantometal, a silver articulated, claw-like ring on his left pinky.

- By the time I came to understand that I had been born with a very unusual figure, I was already in the depths of hell.
I kept running and running, as if trying to shake of those horrified, loathing gazes.
And then before I knew it, I found myself myself already standing at the edge of an abyss named loneliness. I want someone to understand each other.
I want to be able to believe in someone from the bottom of my heart. I want someone to accept me, this kind of me, just as I am.
As I hold tightly onto those wishes that I knew would never come true, I wandered aimlessly through the streets of the night with a hollow feeling.

Etymology[]
- The name Shion means "purple, violet" (紫) (shi) and "sound" (音) (on).
- Shion's surname Kaida means "worth, avail, effect, result, use" (甲斐) (kai) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).

- According to April Fools Event "Paradox Love", Shion "seduces men and women of all ages" (老若男女), which implies he is bisexual.
