Etymology

• The name Chisei means "wisdom, intellect" (智) (chi) and "life, living" (生) (sei).
• Chisei's surname Kuzuryu means "nine heads" (九頭) (kuzu) and "dragon" (竜) (ryu).
• Chisei's MC name, Yasha (夜叉), is derived from Yaksha, a race of benevolent yet mischievous spirits in Buddhism and other Indian religions.

Trivia

• Before switching to music, Chisei was a professional basketball player and retired during the peak of his golden days.
• Chisei and Haruomi's color palettes complement each other:
  • Chisei has blonde hair, which contrasts with Haruomi's dark hair that ranges from ink blue to black in his younger appearance.
  • Chisei has purple eyes whereas Haruomi has golden eyes, which are opposite colors on the color wheel.
• Chisei has the same purple star tattoo as Haruomi. It's located on his shoulder meanwhile Haruomi's is located on his hand.
• Chisei is implied to be left handed, or at least have a preference for using his left hand.
  • He holds his pen with his left hand in the AnimaxCafe collaboration illustration.
  • The glass on the table in the Buraikan Blu-ray release commemorative merchandise illustration is placed to his left.
